I am wondering if anyuone has taken these roads recently, Dyno Road #9 and Monck Road. If so please send feedback on the road conditions. It has been many years since I have ridden on these roads. Thank you, I appreciate your input.

The last time I was on Monck Rd, it was super bumpy and not worth riding. But if you are up in the area and remember Lower Faraday Rd, they repaved it a few years ago and it's quite nice now.

Actually i was thinking to add Faraday Rd, tnks for the tip(y)

I was just up that way on Friday and rode along most of the best roads up towards Barry’s Bay, so just ask if you want to know any other road conditions. Most were in amazing shape.

This is the route from Friday:

Since we're on the topic, have you done the County 6 Rd off of the 28 all the way north to 56 [ Northeys Bay Rd]?

If you are referring to the 1st route below, then no I haven't - looks pretty good though with some fast sweepers.

I usually hit Northey's Bay from the east along the 2nd route below, by taking the 44/47.

I haven't done those roads at least 18years ago the 44 and 46 to the 504 which i did it last year and it was in bad shape almost at the end before the 620
From the map that loop looks good i am referring the 6 to Northeys Bay Rd.
Tnks again for your feedback(y)

Let me know if that 6 is good and maybe that's a nice change to get to Northey's then.
Have a good ride!

I rode on 6 a couple of times...been a few seasons though. Decent roads but it's not fun from what I remember. I see them as means to get to Northeys Bay road (or back). YMMV

I have a cottage off of CR 6 and drive it once a week all year long. Ride it in the summer. Nice road, nothing special. Don't go out of your way to ride it. Does lead to 56 though..........

The folks on 56, Northey's Bay Road are getting a little PO'd re bikes in general and fast riders in particular. Someone was killed there a few weeks ago and locals have painted a big "slow" on the road in red paint.

I've done 56 about 150 - 200 times over the years. Nice road, relatively few passing places in the twisty section. If I'm stuck behind a few cars doing the limit I just pull over and wait a few minutes. Road is so short that by the time I've caught up to them again they're on the straight stretch leading to 28.
