TV shows currently watching

Scarpetta didn't get great reviews but I liked it. I'm not a fan of Kidman or her acting but Jamie Lee Curtis is great as usual.

Realized I hadn't yet watched S4 of Killing Eve so started that now (excellent).

Dunno how many know of the transformation of traditional Irish Folk dancing into a global phenom thanks to one controversial dancer

This is the entire touring show - enjoy.

Finished Vikings season 5 and 6 marginal tho it was okay.
Easy transition to this which is 100 years later. Kattegatt anchors it.
Enjoying it ..better than the last two seasons of Vikings IMNSHO :giggle:
Sound production is outstanding. (y) Much faster pacing with more engaging writing....the story rocks along, in part due to editing.
Very sprawling story line.
Enjoyed Valhalla but wanted more in that story line

On to
Recall it and like the cast ....seeing Rutger Hauer a treat....a life well lived..his autobiography a treat. 🍿
Really enjoying this series cast.
Forgotten one of my fav actresses is there -

Stefanie Martini is an English actress, known for her leading role in ITV's 2017 production Prime Suspect 1973. She also starred in Doctor Thorne (2016), Emerald City (2017), and Crooked House
Incredible eyes. She is wonderful in the Prime Suspect 1973 prequel.....highly recommended

I just realized I had never seen Season 5 ...🍿

.....
I had a hard time with how Kidman looked in Scarpetta but generally enjoyed it. Found Jamie Lee over the top tho I generally like her.
...
Killing Eve is brilliant ...not sure I've seen S4. 🍿

PSA - From S4 has started.
It's been in limbo for a couple of years.

Recently finished up a complete re-watch of Game of Thrones, still great, and watching it this way, you don't miss any of the story bits, as a lot happens in that first season which comes back later on. S8 still was weaker then the rest, but not as bad as I initially remembered.

Also finished up S4 of Dark Winds, not as good as the other seasons.

Survivor Season 50 is one wild rollercoaster. I don't even mind waiting a week between episodes. Tonight was off the walls.
Why??..I won't reveal.
The contestants are ALL returning players, some have played up to four times, NONE have won before
They threw a twist in the game today that made Survivor history .....VERY enjoyable watching this unfold and lots more to come...the shows millions of fans over 50 seasons were fundamental to designing the play structure. Much fun 🎆🍿
....
Coming to final few episodes of The Last Kingdom, I have a bit of viking fatigue but really like the cast.🍿
The only issue I have is keeping track of the names which since it is loosely historically based are hard to parse and recall easily, the mix of Danish and Saxon naming conventions, with a smattering of other nearby cultures, Welsh Scot, Norman and Irish !!!!

Well thought I was done with Vikings flicks but The Northman is leaving Netflix so why not
quite the cast

This movie harkens back to earlier Viking series.

Also watched Seven Kings Must DIe movie which the direct follow up on Last Kingdom.
Found it fractured and hard to follow initially tho maybe to be expected - lot of loose ends to tie up.
The very ending was satisfying and including the unknowns in history regarding a memorable heros fate.
