Does anyone want to be insanely angry today? Please remember that wherever this article reads "assisted", the security video showed that they were CARRYING the woman. They're on probation. No time to be served.

I see Halton hiding in darkness at 02:00 on the sideroads catching people not coming to a complete stop at the stop signs.

Drunk driver called in. Cops investigate and talk to driver. Don't bother with any sobriety tests and let him go. He crashes and multiple people die. BAC was .225. SIU investigates for almost two years and decides no criminal charges are warranted for the cops. Now internal discipline procedures can start (or not). PSA needs to change. That's hundreds of thousands more spent on dirtbags that don't do the job they were hired to do.

As typical, the cops refused to be interviewed by SIU. While that is their right and makes sense in the face of potential criminal charges, that position should be front and center in discipline proceedings. You are hired to uphold the law and also feel that obstructing the quest for justice is the best path for you. That should be the end of their career but it never is.

They should make interview refusal a policy violation. Since they haven't likely been charged, whatever they admit to is inadmissible anyways.

Brock Turner, white and wealthy served three months, cops get probation and lowered employment futures.

At the time of Turner's trial a poor black non-cop said he got 16 years for the same crime.

and justice for all............

Nathan Parker (the shootee) is a piece of work. When his brother (Paul?) was asked what he'd do if Nathan came to his door he said "I'd jump out of the bedroom window, and I live on the third floor."
Ah, so this is the same case from years ago and it has dragged on this long? I remember his brother talking about the abuse.

That press release is from seven years ago. Trial ended with no convictions even though he shot another cop 10 times and likely committed perjury.

Read what I posted above. His OWN BROTHER would jump out of a 3rd floor window to avoid him. The cop that shot him had every reason to fear for his life. There's a segment on either W5 or 5t. Estate on the guy. Can't remember which one. He has a long history of violent behavior.
