Now that I've finished up with "Todd and the Book of Pure Evil" and the animated movie that they did to close out the storyline, I think that I'll watch the shot in Toronto SF series "Defiance." It recently dropped on Prime and I've not been able to rewatch it since the original airing. Should go well with "Fringe" as I continue that rewatch.
The second season of The Night Manager just started on BBC1 today. International release on Jan 11th. The first season was incredible. A great remake of a Le Carre novel. This second season is brand brand new in terms of story though as Le Carre died in 2020 and the first season covered the entire book. First reviews for this are very very good. I might wait until there's a few episodes stacked up to binge.
Finale of "Stranger Things" didn't disappoint. At least it didn't disappoint me. At least one of my film buff friends was less than charitable about it, for reasons of film buff. It's 2 hours long and be warned that the 'resolution', after the climax, is the last half hour. I think that it's earned and there was at least one Easter Egg, that UFO types or conspiracy nuts should be able to catch in it.
