Re-sole Motorcycle Boots

Any recommendations for a cobbler who would do motorcycle boots?

In specific, I have two pairs of Alpinestars SMX6v1's that are perfectly good except for the heels (foot out sumo!) and rather than chucking the two pairs of otherwise perfectly fine boots in the trash. I'm sure the soles could be ordered in...

I suspect its mostly glue that's holding on these soles but I have no idea if that makes it easier or harder to replace.

What do I recommend about Sam`s shoe repair?

Everything. I have been going to Sam`s for about 10 years. Fantastic service. Great customer service.

Also great for also doing the small things. For example, motorcycle boots, Zips on leather jackets, zips on motorcycle panniers bags. Never too busy to give you the time of day. Fantastic.

Is it worth the trip? Most certainly 100% Near the food court. Closed Sundays.

I had trouble getting separated soles redone on Alpinestars here in Aus. Bootmaker said there was no way to secure them properly as were factory fused.

My Gaerne were easy to fix but the Alpinestars throw away....maybe there are new glues now.

I've been going here for years now and he's resoled all my riding boots, fixed broken zippers and more. Some times he gets really busy with a lot of walk in traffic, so he takes a bit longer than he originally thinks he will take to finish the job - just call him before showing up. His prices are really low too, sometimes so low, I wonder how he makes a profit.
