If this is true then I would conclude that the quality of metallurgy in these part must be pretty poor. Diesels are low reving and if anything wears out prematurely then they must be crap.

Isn't this one of the Ducati models that has a plastic gas tank made by Acerbis? They supposedly have a tendency to warp out of shape because of the alcohol in our gas. There was a big lawsuit in the U.S. and Ducati lost but only had to replace the tank with the same thing (which will warp again).

Does anyone have any experience with the service dept. at this place? Positive or negative?

What about getting it safetied with the speedometer/odometer in miles instead of kms? When you try to sell it will this be a problem?

Steve McQueen did quite a few jumps to set up for the scene but when it came to doing the actual scene the insurance people for the movie put a stop to it. Bud Ekins, the stunt co-ordinator for the film ( and a good friend of Steve's) did the jump for the movie.

Saw about 8 bikes on Steeles in Brampton on May 4. The bikes were all big dressers. The guys were wearing colours that said Zombies on top of the patch and ZFFZ on bottom. Anyone ever heard of them?
