This is not normal practice. Most car and motorcycle dealers do not run your credit in Canada before you are asking for financing. No one is running your credit without your permission except the rarest of scumbags. Social media is too powerful. Having said that if they are running your credit...

They've got to be more than the Z400 because the retros are always more expensive that the modern version (z900 vs z900rs etc). Either way they'll sell a ton at $7k because people will pay a little more for the nostalgia and the Triumph emblem (as i would).

you may pay a pretty penny but there are all kinds of companies that incorporate ticket selling with hotel and transportation packages. Check with them and they also have events planned that you can add (paddock walk, meet a former racer etc). google motogp tickets and you'll get plenty of options.
