Fall colours

What really, already! Seems early.
I thought so too. Maybe because they have some overnight frosts last week.

Heading up Hwy 11 it was mostly green all the way to the 118. Then as soon as we got off the 118, it was a really nice full colour display. Then up Kushog Lake Rd, Hwy 35 and into the park along the 60, it was lot's of yellows and reds. Coming home it was similar as well - anything south of the 118 was mostly green, but some nice colours northof the 118.

I thought you were talking about the Rally Connex fall colours event happening this weekend in Barry's Bay.

Flew up to Fort Severn this week, colors from the air were spectacular.

Fall is when I get to see the odd polar bear and belugas along the James Bay coast. Saw a pod of belugas from the air, no polar bears yet.

@shanekingsley you are right the colours they are perfect right now.

I decided to take advantage of yesterdays amazing weather and did HWY 60 through the park, and had a crazy idea to also do HWY 17 over to North bay...

Stop in Dorset, some colours starting to show

Going up the north end of HWY 35 was nice, stop in Dwight

Algonquin, I didn't take too many photos here, but it was amazing, near the welcome centre was truly incredible.

Off to Petawawa, I tool a nice road around Round Lake, quiet and peaceful full of trees, Petawawa beach. By this time of the day it was like summer.

I tried to pit stop in North Bay, but the traffic was insane, so I left. Pitstop in Burk Falls, screaming head and more colours

Awesome ride @sburns. How many kms was that? (Looks like a much better ride than heading to the Stonetown.
