First let me say the cop was a Prick, after getting pulled over today because of the cop saying a was weaving on the road, i showed him my camera and he said i could be charged with reckless , 6points and 650 in fines. well that didn't fly when i showed the camera, next was i could be fined with 3 points and 650 for not stopping as soon as seen the lights come on, I told him i didn't want to stop on the middle of the overpass reason i drove the extra 200ft.

He ended up giving me a ticket for front door window tint for 100 bucks, i phoned the company Xpel that install and they told me it's 100% legal level. they said they will put it in writing for me.

Plus the cop didn't have a meter to measure it, so in short how legit is the ticket if i decide to fight it. i fight all my tickets by the way

Definitely fight it. You are legally allowed a small amount of tint on the front windows, so if they'll put it in writing with your year/make/model/license plate and preferably VIN, then you should be able to get this thrown out in early resolution.

Good luck the law is written to be entirely up to the discretion of the cop if he says too dark it is too dark.
Any thint that obscures the interior can result in a fine.

You sure. Decades ago when I worked building limos they talked about a specific % that was allowable.

The number is overridden by the officers judgement if they feel the interior is obscured then the # doesn't matter.
Front side windows:

Front side windows may have 70% VLT (visible light transmission) only if originally manufactured as such.

Vehicle inspection regulations also permit 70% VLT, meaning your vehicle will pass inspection if front side windows allow over 70% light transmittance.

However, Ontario law does not expressly allow aftermarket tinting on front side windows nor does it specify exact VLT percentage.

It only says windows must not substantially reduce vision inside the vehicle.

Thus, tinting front side windows should be done only at your own risk.
