Hadda layerdown Hoss, Gobbless. Clibbins are a year round thing.add grass clippings!
I've used a rattle gun for decades. Did you use air or electric? If using air, 1/2" hose and type V fittings give it tons more power and speed. In this house, I put in a 3/4" reel with a regulator at the end and use a short 1/2" stinger.Shovelled off the car, then the driveway and then installed the winter tires in the drive way.
For the first time ever I did this job with a rattle gun. Oh My that's nice.

When I got this house was the first time I did it inside. That was a huge improvement. Until then was in the snow and wind in the driveway. At some point, I will put in a two-post and that will be the final improvement.
I haven't used the good battery guns. I have a decent 120V and air. Between those two, air wins by miles even on a small hose. Use a big hose and high flow fittings and gap substantially widens. Battery would be convenient. Incorporating new to me larger compressor, cooler, water removal etc will likely cost me as much as a battery gun but at this point I'm committed to air. When I eventually sell this house, most of the air stuff will likely stay here (or I can sell the 3/4" copper i have for air lines to fund my retirement)..Some people are saying the battery ones beat the compressor ones.
I have all 3 the battery is the strongest but the heaviest as well. Ingersoll W7152.I haven't used the good battery guns. I have a decent 120V and air.
