Anyone sold a cemetery plot?

My late wife's father bought and is buried in a double.
I followed through with her cremation request.
This has been low on my priority list but trying to tie up loose ends.
 
Interesting question. I assume they are like timeshares and a bajillion dollars to buy and they control resale to ensure the money stays with the cemetery. I assume by double you mean two wide? Or are you trying to sell the top level on top of FIL?

Working on burying my dad beside by grandma now. My grandparents bought four plots for them plus kids. Each plot allows double stack coffins with something like 6 urns on top of that. We haven't discussed if my wife and I should go there or elsewhere. There will be space for us or an extra plot (some chaos in burial resulted in cousins buried in the wrong graves, ugh).

It looks like it's worth the bother. Do you have (or can get) the contract? Sometimes they limit options.
