Where are the Toronto Jays fans

The changes made to baseball over the last few years made it much better. No more waiting minutes for a pitch and many hours for a game.
The pitch countdown clock is a nice addition. Never knew about it until I noticed it at the Mariners game.

Apparently it sped up the games to the tune of 30-45min faster.

So only 5h now? Only kidding. I think it's probably a much better game for me viewed live.
Most sports get better as you understand the game.

Baseball can be a little like watching a soccer match, lots of routine repetitive stuff with the odd flash of excitement. If you don’t know more than the object and basic rules it can be very boring.

Yes but soccer = 2x45 mins. Thats it. Done.

Cricket on the other hand……

A soccer match runs about 2 hours with many games having only a highlight or two. - it would be excruatiating to watch on TV if it was any longer.

In person - that’s a different story, always a stream ho highlights in the crowd!

Tried to buy a hat during Game 1…some were buying 20-30 hats at a time…

Banana Ball. If you've seen it, you know.
They fill every major league baseball stadium that they play in.
The All Star game was yesterday.
Similar to the Harlem Globetrotters, but baseball.
On YouTube. "Banana Ball".

Got tickets for tonights watch party. Stadium looked pretty full last night. Only tickets available were 500 but who cares, it's for the atmosphere. I wanted to take GO but it's useless to me. The only train options down leave before 14:00 or arrive an hour after the game starts. That leave GO bus at almost 2.5 hours. Screw that nonsense, I'm driving.

Should they bother playing today? They already played the equivalence of Game 3 and Game 4...18 innings....insanity.

I tapped out after 12.
Moi ici. The wife and I had to work today and I ran out of beer. :ROFLMAO:

I'd recommend going to park at Mimico / Long Branch and take the GO from there instead. I like Clarkson as it's a massive lot and free. Port Credit is paid IIRC but can't confirm.

The trains are every 30min, and I believe when the game is over they're every 15min or so.

Just make sure to sit on the proper trains when at Long Branch because there's currently work happening at that stop and only certain trains open their doors.

It's way too far for me. Faster to drive down. Parking at simcoe place is $10 with spot hero.

EDIT:
And life took a dump on this plan. Fak.
