"Performance Powersports, which is a wholesale supplier of off-road vehicles, filed for bankruptcy in January 2023. However, the company, backed by Kinderhook Industries, filed with the intention to be acquired by a lender and equity owner while searching for better offers. It was not a permanent bankruptcy but a process to restructure and potentially sell assets"
Looks like they've been having problems for a while.

Maybe depends on which AI, but I haven't had much luck in getting them to give me right answers unless it was an easy one that I could have gotten directly from a google search, and even then it's usually wrong. Maybe not completely wrong, but that's even worse.
I just ran this google search and got a completely backwards answer: c8 corvette redesigned transmission pan
AI Overview:
"The Corvette C8 transmission pan was redesigned to address an issue with fluid capacity, and the new version was introduced in mid-2023. The original design limited the ability to add extra fluid for tracking, while the new design accommodates this by allowing for an additional two quarts of transmission fluid."
The original design didn't limit the ability to add extra fluid, it required the additional 2 quarts. The new design eliminates that so the standard level can be used street or track.
While I don't trust the AI's initial answer, I do follow the links when provided to check for myself. In that regard, it's pretty useful.

After careful consideration, we’re sadden to announce that our Peak Powersports London location will be closing, with our last retail day on Saturday, December 13th.
This decision was not made lightly. The combination of ongoing tariffs associated with Indian Motorcycle and a changing economic landscape has made it increasingly difficult to continue operating this location at the standard our customers deserve.
We want to sincerely thank all of our London staff for their hard work, dedication, and passion — they’ve been the heart of this location and the reason so many riders felt at home here.
We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the London community and all our surrounding customers who supported us over the years. Your loyalty, friendship, and enthusiasm have meant the world to our team.
Even though this chapter in London is coming to a close, our other Barrie and Oakville locations remain open and ready to serve you. It’s important to note that while our Oakville location may look a little different in its new format, we are very much open for business—and our dedication to serving the Oakville community with industry-leading sales, parts, and service remains unchanged.
From everyone on the London team and across our company, thank you for being part of our community. We hope to see you before our final day on December 13th.
Sincerely,
Nathan and Lawrey Body"

It's only been a few years since Peak purchased the store, formally Wolf BMW. Hard to believe they couldn't make it work with just BMW and a smaller foot print. Sad to see them go.
Or a sign that they owe money to the manufacturers and can't offer warranty work anymore because the manufacturer won't refund the dealer until the dealer is all paid up.
I'm not suggesting that is the case, but I know when a GTA dealer was closing a few years ago I couldn't get them to order me parts for like two months before they announced they were going out of business. I found out two years later that trucks had come and the new unsold vehicles were picked up and taken away. Suddenly I understood why I couldn't get a reply when I was trying to buy a new sensor. They needed to get it from the manufacturer and the manufacturer wasn't going to give them anything until they paid their tab.
Again, I know nothing about Peak specifically, just sharing my experience of not being able to get dealer support prior to another dealing closing.
