What's your most neglected maintenance item on your motorcycle?

Saw this question online, thought some of the responses were good - stuff that doesn't even pop up on my radar like spoke tension...

Other good ones: fork seals, suspension, spark plugs.

I'm on top of most regular maintenance like chain (tension and clean/lube), oil, air filter, tires (tread and pressure), brake pads.

My personal neglected maintenance item is valves. Should do them more often. Such a hassle, though...

Woohoo I'm not the only one!

In the way back times I'd religiously check, lube and adjust my chain. Now it just never looks slack or dry. Even when I measure, it's within tolerance.
 
When i was younger my CM400E with 80K on the odometer no oil change or air filter for 40K plus. Cheapest chenging ? something tire. Hard as a rock but lasted. Take it to 80 plus MPH cut the throttle and white/blue smoke out the pipes. Just keep adding oil.

Not if you own an Italian tractor. I almost look forward to valve adjustments on the Guzzi. So easy, a cave man could dot it!

I don't mind lubing the chain on my Thruxton, but I do mind cleaning the wheel and hub. I've a solution though: don't lube the chain!

Tire pressures are checked every time the bikes leave the garage.

I'm also guilty.

How about head bearings and swing arm bearings? You guys are all on top of that stuff? I'm not. Wheel bearings are easy, though.

You're supposed to change the oil every couple of years. I do that when they stop working.

It was different when they were right side up and had convenient drain plugs on them!
 
Great topic.
Coolant change, and fork oil. Spark plugs (have a new set sitting for two years)
 
Used to be chain, until mine got some frozen links on a ride to Alabama.
 
When I bought a 10 YO Goldwing I flushed the brake hydraulics and the old stuff didn't look that bad. Then it struck me that the clutch was hydraulic and I flushed it as well. The old stuff looked like lumpy gravy.
