Nostalgia is funny like that. I miss my X, and then consider buying one again…until I remember why I sold it.

I miss my Scrambler and haven’t even sold it yet! Then I remember why I’m about to sell it!

You remember the good but gloss over the bad…it’s a tricky thing.

If you really miss it then buy it again. But be wary of wanting it gone again. I didn’t know you sold it though!

Are you going to try to trade for jayells MG?

No, always wanted one though. Does that count as nostalgia or does prior ownership have to be a prereq?

If it is, then the only Honda I've ever owned is a CRF250L. And I am *definitely* not nostalgic about that bike.

At all.
Good question.
@bigpoppa please clarify

Not to add fire to this but a very clean, never down, Africa Twin with ~15,000km was just listed for sale near Oshawa on Marketplace for $10,000 including nice additions like alum bags and nice (real) skidplate. Old guy claiming it's too heavy for him now.

I also have Honda nostalgia. If I had the garage space, I would buy a 450 Nighthawk again and a VFR750.
My Honda nostalgia is my 75 naked GL1000. I love it… and it’s in my garage.

I thought you had the red velvet cake color scheme? Dont recall a black one in your garage...

#Edit, what wait, you got 2 of them?

I have owned certain bikes more than once, with no regrets...(KTM superduke :cool:)

Its a bit different when you've put on real miles and have ownership experience, you've lived with it, and know what you like and dont like...

As to why I sold it, I was very fickle back then ;)

Everyone has a different definition of what constitutes the favorite bike, imo its what you put the most miles on and have the fondest memories on...
