What did you do in your garage today..?

Change the blue and yellow leads. Then switch the wires at the plugs 2-4 and 1-3. The right hand coil that failed to fired #2 is now firing #4 w/o issue.
What am I missing?
In it's original set up the right hand coil was being triggered to fire 1 & 2. Again no issue with #1.
You may be right but I don't see it.

Did you own the red jeep?

Negative, I think I got that from the owner of Snow City.

The headlights are off in that pic, but he had ran some normal AC lights into there. When I bought it I converted to LED because mods yo.

At some point I'd like to get the turn signals lit up too.

My Hoover carpet cleaner went kaboom. (cleaning garage floor) Motor is a pile of rust. New motor is $310. New cleaner is $269. Lol

Nerd video done:

New crush washers! You baller!

You don't mention it, but I always let the oil drain, then rock the bike front to back and side to side to get the dribs and drabs that hang up in various spots.

There was a similar problem on the ST forum, and it was due to a hairline crack in the wire to the spark plug which when switched to another cylinder closed the gap. He was able to ohm it out to find the offending section and it was far enough near the coil that he just cut off the offending section. Just in case

Good tip. Like shaking it twice before you put it away.

Sometimes I do similar, but not always. In this case with there being two drain plugs... meh. It's probably a good best-practice though.

Was looking online for engine air filter and realized I totally forgot about changing Cabin air filter.
Changed it today and that cabin filter definitely a few years too old lol
How often do you change those on your car?

I try to change it every spring. This year I was like you and forgot about it, 2 years. It was so dirty.

I change mine every couple years for basic airflow ( I run low KM per year) and to possibly reduce stress on the HVAC system. I breath unfilter air before getting into the car, so I find these filters to be quite useless.

I changed mine a few months ago for the first time in 10 years it was disgusting even had a dead mouse in it. Apparently they need done more often. The wife's car was dirty but nothing like the truck it was 8 years old. I didn't realize they were even there I will change yearly now.

Yearly. I have rodent issues. Since installing some galvanized screening in the intakes it's been free of poop but it still gets pretty dirty.

Almost never.

I spray painted a set of track fairings on the patio this morning. Everyone knows to use a 2K epoxy clear coat for durability, but the secret to a truly professional track finish is to have tweezers on hand to pick the flies and grasshoppers out of the clear coat before it dries.

Not even an old tent as a spray booth? That cuts down on wind and bugs. Be careful with fire though.
