Someone that decides a ride at 04:00 in January is the right way to celebrate a birthday.
I'm glad I was born in the spring! LoL
But good on the man, not many people are able to travel that much and see the world. Kudos.

Me? Kilimanjaro (Yes), Ayer’s Rock (No), the Palanca pyramid (Yes), Timbuktu (No), Victoria Falls (Yes), sliding down an active volcano (maybe), the Berlin Wall (Yes), Mount Marepi (No), the Grand Canyon (Yes).
Most memorable was Nov 9, 1989 -- I was at the wall at the Brandenberg Gate the night it fell.
The night before I was in jail in East Berlin because I missed the exit curfew through Checkpoint Charlie.

Rick has lots of stories. Interesting guy, but kind of crazy.
Getting chased out of Egypt after climbing the pyramids (early morning, after an attempt the day before).
Mooning over the Berlin wall, and having shots fired from the east German side (to get the attention of other soldiers to laugh at his naked ass)... he got in **** for that one.
His Victoria falls pictures were cool. Swimming out to a rock for a picture.
Sliding down a volcano on a metal sled.
His house is like a museum. I don't know how his wife puts up with him.
Barn full of junk... I mean he's a "collector".
Keeps buying the same old 1960s car whenever he can find one. Its the first car he got laid in, so he has to buy them when the opportunity arises.
Has this thing about jumping over his fence. Some other birthday ritual.
