Need a real quality concrete for a single post, for a lot of people that means redoing the pour completely as most basic floors aren't strong enough

How far out does the base extend under the car to counter the weight of it? Never seen an unsecured single

The post is 10' high so that could be a issue for many garages lucky I have a 12' ceiling and can actually stand under that car when it is raised. The thing is heavy to put together several 1000lb pieces but fairly easy.

Looked into one of those years ago to swap transmissions. Problem is the legs that roll under the car would be a PITA to work around, and the arm holding the car would get in the way too. Heard some rattling in the exhaust when I took it off...
Had some time waiting for new packing to arrive, so refreshed it, new heat resistant enamel.
Had to go through everything, loctite, grease, dielectric grease, and clean. Alot of this is a first for me, and I'm surprised how easy KTM has made it to work on the bike.

No, they are Kenda K270's. They came with the bike, and are new. I haven't tried them off road yet, though I will be swtiching to a more dirt oriented tire. Not sure how these will do for single track

Fixed a Ninja 300 today ... (I'll let the GTAM member chime in if he wants to)
He bought it used with the intent of using it as both a track and street bike. Previous owner had built it with that intent, and it had lots of nice bits on it including Ohlins fork cartridges and an Ohlins shock ... but the quality of assembly was brutal. Complaint: "wallows and wanders, steering feels vague". Others had already backed off the excessive shock spring preload and put back in some rebound damping, we put in some more. Getting the front wheel off the ground revealed lots of friction in the steering that wasn't due to the GPR steering damper. OK ... Steering head bearings. Bring it over to the shop.
Upper triple clamp had been installed with Loctite. Removing it required gentle heat and lots of hammering. It's supposed to come off pretty easily once all the clamp bolts are out.
Steering stem adjustment nut was waaaaayyyy overtightened. Disassembled the upper bearing, inspected, applied lots of grease, re-assembled with just a wee bit of preload on the nut.
Upon attempting to re-install the steering damper, the first discovery was that the base interfered with the front edge of the fuel tank. Filed more clearance. The second discovery was that the clamp also interfered. Filed more clearance.
Triple clamp was then re-installed using the correct tightening sequence, and no Loctite.
Removed a GoPro mount that was in a silly place, interfering with the rider's right foot.
Investigated strange rear brake feel (Woodcraft rear-sets). Pivot bolt for brake lever was too tight. Re-assembled not too tight with Loctite on the threads and the jam nut properly installed. The return spring is incorrect, couldn't do anything about that. "Pedal too sensitive" - suggested intentionally getting an air bubble into the caliper, rider opted not to, that option is still on the table.
Trip around the block reveals that the steering feels much more responsive now.

I gotta get rid of a lot of crashed but fixable body parts and extra crap including subframes. Fits 2003-2005 r6
