Any Dalton Timmins customers tried to get them on the phone lately?

What an unfortunate change, it’s like calling Rogers 1 800 number now. 30+ person hold lines and hour long waits. Ironically I am calling to cancel but yikes!

Was always pleased before this though and recommended them to a ton of new riders friends because of it.

Just send them an email. Most of the time it has to be in writing anyways.

Same experience late last summer trying to convert my policy over to a new bike. Called Friday around 2:30pm, yes it was Friday but not an unreasonable time buffer. Kept on hold WELL over an hour, summarily disconnected, tried calling back... "We're sorry our offices are closed until Monday morning"

This was after already getting their systems populated with the information, and I was only calling (at their instruction) to confirm the purchase and get it switched. Will be looking at new providers come spring renewal. Shameful customer service.

stop paying - i'm sure they'll start calling you.

Heh, I remember doing that back in the day for my rogers cellphone. After not paying a month or two, when you used their service line, it'd automatically transfer you to an agent and you could circumvent the line to complain about everything else they were doing that was ****.

FYI: They are NFP now. There was someone posting an ad in the insurance forum about it a little while back. Maybe @NFP Moto will get them to arrange a callback. The thread was Riders Wanted - NFP Moto. It was pretty crummy how they'd advertise, even put their name on one of the motorcycle shows but won't on this forum like the rest of the insurance posters do.

Don't actually do this - they will cancel the policy for non-payment and that cancellation will jack up your premiums everywhere else

Yeah i realize that - it was more in jest on how companies will always make time for you when you owe them money.

I kinda guessed but I wanted to be reaaaallly sure - nobody in this whole internet.com website needs help with increasing their premiums

I just dumped DT for commercial insurance. Once they became NFP, price kept increasing, quality of product didn't. Saved 25% and got additional coverage elsewhere. Not sure if motorcycle policies are following a similar pattern.

Might be due to my age now, but I just got a quote from NFP for a 2012 tuono, its same cost as my speed triple + $30 a year.
Last time I quoted the same bike in 2018 from them it was $700 more.

Called yesterday...number 39 on wait list....didn't.
Plan to start cancelling policies with them.

Shame. A month into covid this complaint wouldn't have been fair. However a year later and customer service being one of the easiest things to move to WFH?

Yes its annoying, but due to sheer volume. It is super busy for bikes this time of year for NFP Moto and brokerages in general but also helps to call the right number. There is also a call back feature where you enter in phone # and they will call you back if busy rather than having to stay on hold.

So you say you are raking in the money hand over fist and can't take it in fast enough.
I can picture that, how come they were not prepared for it

Good and all but I work during the call hours and was calling on my hour lunch. Can't take a call back in the middle of work. It is what it is. Was surprised at the traffic is all. Must be a big operation.

I'm only looking at the 1000, but guessing the 1100 difference would be felt.
I had a 636 and then a newer zx6r and the measly 36ccs were definitely noticeable.
