There are a hell of a lot of muzzles pointed in unsafe directions, especially if you are woken up by a situation and grab for your gun.
Also people standing beside each other without masks. I wonder what it takes for people to learn? Last I heard, at least three people got infected while hiding from the hoard and that was only a few hours together, presumably most of these people will be cuddling for days.

Biden knows what's what. He knows the whole dog and pony show will amount to nothing, so he's focusing on the transition and unifying the country.
Trump thrives on attention and the media circus around impeachment is playing right into his favour. There's no way Republican Senators will convict the only person who is able to win the 2024 election for the GOP.

Keep in mind they don't need a 67% majority to keep him from running again....that is the end game. It take a huge revenue source away from him. He can collect running in 2024 donations for years without even wanting to run. But if they bar him (they only need 51 votes) from holding office again that is a big hurt put on him.
Apparently this is their one way to get rid of him. If he loses the ability to run.....plenty of Senators will cry crocodile tears and be happy he's in the rearview mirror. He is the reason they lost their majority. Even if he does a half hearted effort they win one of the senate seats in Georgia.....but he couldn't do it.
