Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Another one that doesn't know how to fix'em, they just know how to break'em.
Yeah. It may just need valve adjustment but how long has he ridden it making the strange noise?

Also instagram stickers on the bike. That automatically caps its value as I havent met anyone with instagram stickers that wasnt a knob.

....What the good christ?

Bike looks never taken care of yet 300$ rear tire?

What are ferrings

Not starting but... low kms??

Not sure about the year but... relatively new?
Hyosung 250 almost universally has oiling issues and dies. Terrible ad.

From the condition of the chain it hasn't moved under its own power it quite a long time.
Hook a chain on it and use it for fishing.
Assuming that the new "racing" tire was installed around the last time it moved, the only part of the bike that could possibly be good is also garbage. What is a scrap bike worth anyway? $150?

Its surprising you can end up in the stupidly overpriced thread at $400 but this one seems to fit the bill.

$4000 for a cosmetically messy ninja 500? Great deal.

So they did 3700 km in a year, never redlined it and now they are ready for a more advanced bike? smh.

$65,000 USD at the moment
That price is actually almost (subjectively) reasonable... but prices are up. This could get stupid.

Nice bike tho

I also like "does 100km/h in 4th no issues".
This person needs a scooter lol.

Lots of debate in the vintage guitar/bass world about overpricing/value/rarity/worth. In the end, the, "it's worth what someone is willing to pay," argument is hard to deny. Salvator Mundi isn't a great painting, but Leonardo da Vinci painted (some of) it, so it's worth almost half a billion to someone, even if that someone is a Saudi crown prince. What is being bought is a lot more than just a painting, though.

Personally, I'd rather have the Ducati in my garage than the da Vinci in my living room, but I'm not buying either...

Hate to be negative, but i don't think it's worth 65k. There are too many questions. Mileage is unknown. It's been crashed and parts restamped. Beautiful bike, but a bit of a bitsa bike imho.

Well if you look at it as art with a story, there are a lot uglier things that you can buy for 65K.

According to the site, they hold 5% of the bid as a deposit, so at $65k it's not a joker like some eBay bidders. 7 more days to climb from there. The comments mixed with the bid history are something I've never seen before, though the current leader is quiet. The crash and restamp is contemporary with manufacture, and the racing history may help. Wonder what a zero-mileage minter would go for...

At first I thought it had been serviced by Guy Martin, of TT and Brit TV fame. Turns out (much more logically) to be Guy Martin the Ducati mechanic in Florida...

Hard to keep them all straight. There is also Guy Martin of MBP in Quebec. Awesome Ducati engine builder tuner.
