Anyone know how to fix motorcycle parts retail in Canada?

Simple request, I just asked for somebody who knows what a Montesa is, they are calling me back :cool: if not I call them back. Somebody must know what it is.

Frank I got some guy on the line asking for a Montessa? That Spanish thing that keeps turning up on the inventory sheet? Yeah , I thought they listed the espresso machine on the inventory. No dude , the espresso machine is a Gaggia supermatic,
Call over to lawn and garden, ever since we made these powercenter superstores nobody knows what we stock. While your down the hall can you get me a coffee? From the Montessa?? no that gaggia machine, dufus, its the only thing set up for demo ..

... but supposedly I can order what I want through Any Honda dealer, time to test that theory!

Placing an order for better then a grand worth of goggomobile parts, lets see how it goes :cool: by about March.

Not just any Honda dealer :cautious: I needed one that knows a right stanchion tube from a left nut.
... and btw the nice lady that answers the phone at Honda Canada, still does not have a clue what a Montesa is and she can't or won't transfer you to somebody that does.

Well they can not get a stanchion tube.
Good for decals and no on a fender.
Can not source forks even the whole fork any year,
I would say that is a major national distribution fail.

... oh an a no on a dip stick, so now I need to make one :|
 
Anybody fluent in Spanish?

they would like to pretend those other ones don't exist.

What the heck is a Montesa? Isn't that one of those downhill mountain bikes?

(I kid, of course. I'd love to have one, they look amazing. Only so much room in the garage. Came within inches of buying a used KTM Freeride, the faux trials bike, when I lived in the woods in BC, but the timing wasn't right.)
