Got a good Wawanesa agent?

I'm currently with Wawanesa, however I'm wondering if anyone has a good Wawanesa agent.

I'm looking to make some changes/additions to my current policy, and my current Wawanesa agent leaves a bit to be desired (hard to get hold of him sometimes).

Not sure how making a broker switch works though, so I thought I'd check here first.
Thanks!

thank you sir!

As a quick update: Chris was fantastic, I highly recommend people use him!

My rates dropped significantly going through him, so thanks for the post!

Wawanesa has great rates for bike insurance, especially if you add home and auto with them (50% off the base rate).

For riders who have been licensed less than 6 years, they will only insure you on non sport bikes under 750cc (even a Kawasaki 250 they will not insure).

My son Chris and I deal with Wawanesa and have nothing but great things to say about the Canadian based insurer.

you're wrong
Wawanesa will insure you on SS if you had your license even for a year
one of my friends on s1000rr with M2 ~ $1300/y, other one on R1 ~ 1K/y with M (3 years)

and yes wawanessa is the worst !! insurance company but they have the best rates for bikes especially this year

Can you comment why wawanessa is the worst?

This is promising as I have a 650 vstrom (non-sport) and less than 6 years exp. I will def try them out in June.

M&W deal with Wawanesa as well
I am with M&W and they told me the best rate was from Echelon.

I guess this brings up another issue, how do you know if a broker is really giving you the best rate from the pool of insurance companies...

this is just from my experience and what i've seen in the past year - dealing with claims department and adjusters
im myself with wawanessa but only to be legal on the road

I don't think there is a perfect insurance out there. Fair enough;-)

I'm with M&W (Wawanessa) and was with Riders Plus (Echelon). Echelon was $700/year more. Looks like everyone commenting on their insurance experiences is completely pointless.

Are your friends located in the GTA? Every agent I called told me minimum is 6 years from M2 for SSs.

S1000rr with m2 for 1300 a year?

Must live in the middle of nowhere, be over 60 and packaged half the neighborhood with them.

I deal with Globe Insurance (Adam G.) for Wawanesa on the house insurance. They couldn't touch the pricing of our cars as my wife hasn't been driving for that long.
