I wonder what kind of Audi could have don't that kind of speed?

The picture I saw for 246 km/h guy looked liked a blue 3 series BMW. Pic sucked though so I could be wrong. 1 to 3 series BMW to be conservative. Now which ones of those can get to 250? The M cars should be able to, will the 35's get there?

Hey, it's his parent's car, so throw the book at him and throw him in jail for a few days.

IMHO if you are over 50 km in a hundred zone it's not a huge deal as everyone is traveling at 120 -125 anyway on most 400 series highways and 130 -135 on the 407.

If you are doing 150 km over the 100 km limit then you go to jail and you should be subject to vehicle forfeiture. Those types of speed are insane. I wonder what he is saying to mommy and daddy now that he has been caught. Maybe he has been "grounded" and has to be in bed by 11PM for a couple of weeks.

I remember those days. My first biggie stop was on the 407 in my 95 Stillen 300ZX TT, they got me at the limiter 265, Sunday morning at 404 on Christmas day. I was honest, told them I had to do it and was prepared to pay the price. YRP gave me a present -- they just let me go.

Same thing happened last spring on the 507, 4 of us got tagged at 180+. We all pulled over and were prepared for the worst. The in car radar picked up 3 bikes and we were 4. They couldn't figure out who were the 3, another lucky break -- "slow down boys and girls" and they let us go.

apparently its a free world..do what you want...perhaps next time Darwin will co-pilot

Good to see the kids are still having fun, until captured.
Not going to say what gear my car runs at 246kph, but my busa, was near the end of 4th gear.

246? Those are rookie numbers...
I get going fast and all, but on the 403? Find some driveway-less back road with good visibility and have at it

In an era where Mommy and Daddy seem to increasingly run to the automatic defence of their precious snowflake no matter what they did or how much trouble they got themselves in, I have little faith in most parents anymore.

If it were either of my kids I'd make them take a taxi home from the scene and inform them "Well, ya really ****** up now didn't you?" when they walked through the door, followed by my suggestion they turn around and go straight back out the door to purchase a bus pass.

Is it still pulling hard when it hits the limiter? My guess is to get over 250 it was either an M car or a chipped non-M car.
Yes still pulling, capable of so much more. I'm sure it would get close to 280.

And get another job to pay to get the car out of impound and lawyer fees. Honestly, given how young both of these idiots are, it probably makes sense to pay the ticket to get it registered as soon as possible and then take a few years off driving until the ticket disappears.

Parents: don't buy fast cars for your kids. My gen 1 civic topped out at 130 km/h with a smoke cloud behind it if you tried. Kklunkers and Fairmonts were good. Lol Just get them a nice reliant automobile...
