Sorry about your bike. Don't waste riding time, get on your insurance company and find another bike. Thats what you pay the ridiculous fees for. Oh and find some comfort in the fact that nobody who steals bikes will ever go on to have a half way decent future...

Sorry to hear that dude..that's a really nice bike. My friend he had the same issue when he was living in Condo...guys with Caravan stole his bike..I hope they get their shins kicked in some day..

I know, stupid builder. I'm going to get them to block that part, how stupid of them to leave it open like that. only when cars are parked there its "secure"

yeah i'm starting to look for another bike. I Want an Agusta F3 or a Ducati 848 but my insurance premium will increase by $600-$700 a year. i'll be at 2200 for the year. A little too high for my budget. this is with statefarm, i'll have to call around and see if i can get a better rate.

Those bikes will be gone even quicker than the Gsxr.

thanks man, i was shocked when i saw it was a mini van on the security camera. I would have never guessed. my first thought was a pickup truck or something.

Sorry for your loss man. If you get one of those sexy italian bikes, make sure you also get a big ass chain and lock. It's not steal-proof but at least they will go for an easier bike to take.

Op sorry for your loss. Same thing happened to a friend of mine last summer. Maybe karma will kick in and the pricks will be hit by a bus or something.
 
My condo is just as stupid.
It's serious run by idiots.
Condo isn't even registered yet and there's been blood on my friends car and a lexus' rims were stolen. There's no fob to drive in, only to raise the arm that's down there. Anyone can steal my bike in 2 minutes.
They were having cameras installed the week after the rims were jacked.... Still not in 2 months later.

You renting or bought there? If I had bought I would be asking freaking questions.. shows the Canadian trait of bending over to take it with out complaints

Sorry to shatter your dreams, but if your GSXR got stolen... an Agusta or Ducati will be gone before it even arrives...


I live in a condo as well but store the bike elsewhere. Reality bites.
 
I don't see the gate, but regardless, it won't matter if they enlarge it (unless it's a metal gate. My building's wooden gate gets broken regular by residents, never mind thieves.

Having had one bike stolen (from the street), my feeling is they will get it if they want it, doesn't matter how you protect it. I wouldn't advertise what your next bike will be in case they decide to pay a return visit after reading this forum.

Long story short, I own it.
Guess I'll just wait for it to get stolen so I can get a new bike. Insurance can sue my condo for failure to provide promised security measures.
 
it can get stolen from anywhere, didn't realize how easy it is till i saw the video. You can't stop living life because of ******** like that!
 
Get an older, less desirable bike as your next bike. The uglier, the better.
