Yeah ok. The Ferrari is an 87, which means it was on the drawing board around 84-85. That was 30 years ago. These cars, just like F1 cars back in the day weren't built with safety in mind. Thats why they disintegrate, and people like Senna, Villenueve and Ratzenburger all paid the ultimate price.
The F40, when arrived on US soil, gained approx 250lbs, because of all the added bulk US regs required to make it "safer".
If I were going to be involved in a crash today, I'd take a modern car anyday over any 30 year old exotic.
