Haha That does suck OP. Nolans are expensive brands i own a scorpion and the wife a Zeus but if i had something more expensive i would use the helmet hooks

Well, I did really like the nolan though it was not cheap. A brief review of the dearly departed may be in order. Usually i ride doing errands going from shop to shop so my helmet comes on and off frequently. I wear glasses so I quickly stopped using the detachable chin guard and used it as an 3/4 with the face shield up or down depending on conditions. I don't think the helmet was really a great looker (ok not at all a great looker). It did fit well, was quality construction. Forget about ventalation . this model is supposed to be well ventillated (the european version). The north american version has modificatinos whcih i think really reduced the ventillation to fliping the face shiedl up (don't get me wrong there is vent lever but it did not have much effect). Also forget about the built in glare shield. Does not come down low enought to be effective in the upgright scooter rider positon.
All in all, I liked the helmet, but will be looking for something different to replace it.

im betting the person that off'd the helmet just did it for doing it. probably chucked it over a nearby fence or garbage can. anyone who "needs" a helmet isnt going to steal whatever they see.

Had my old AGV Stealth (which had a good few scratches) cut by the strap off the passenger seat helmet lock in a Brampton parking lot last summer...
I keep my gloves in the helmet, but they left those on the ground. Strange considering they were Velocity VR Pros, and were worth more than the helmet itself lmao

Why? Because they are losers at doing anything good so they get their jollies from doing loser stuff.
If the situation justified riding home without a lid I would first phone the local cop shop and report it getting some reference number. That will not make it legal to ride breezy but might get you some slack if stopped.

You guys have it relatively lucky..I used to live near Liverpool where everything needed to be bolted down to the floor or it would be taken. Dad had his car broken into and they stole......his lunch. Lived in Manchester for a while, when I got bored I stood on the fire escape and watched little kids throw away bags they had just stolen from cars or watched cops chasing thieves through alleyways. Anyone that visted could not park their car on the sidestreet as it would either not be there in an hour, or it would be broken into.
OP, for karma carry a piss soaked old helmet with you everywhere and leave it on your bike...when it goes missing rejoice in the feeling that somewhere, there's a ********* with a urine shampoo job.
