So, I dragged my knees, legs, waist and shoulder.

Actually it appears to be the case that it is in fact RACE practice and school. A friend mentioned it to me but I don't think he was aware of the events going on.

Thank you all for the well wishes. Got a call from the radiologist this morning and apparently there's something broken.

My Dainese suit now has character and a story tell.
I was wearing my full metal racer gloves but switched to the fives after the first two sessions.

TomC, yes the carousel is the big left corner, my favorite part of the track. Maybe that's why I was pushing so hard. I don't know.

I understand the bike is repairable and **** happens, it's just that crashing sucks. Lol :(

Video or it didn't happen ;)

Must have either really overcooked the corner or had bad body position. I also really push into 6a/6b and have never had the front move there after years of doing so. Now, 7 is another story.

Could have been either, or the fact that the cracks were still wet and my tire got caught.
Which is what a few people told me, to be honest I'm not really sure as to what happened exactly.

Forgot the memory card at home for the gopro so there's no video, but my right hand is proof enough. Lol

I still think you're the only one who thinks the carousel is 6a/b. Everyone else thinks its 4a/b.

I didn't see you go, only saw you "going". I could be wrong but I think your back tire lost traction in the rough crap of 4B and then regrabed and you did a nice small highside on your right side. Either that or you cut 4B early, stood it up in the hope of missing the turtle and it spilled you to your right side when you hit it. Like I said, didn't see you 'go', just the going.

I was watching the kid come down thru the S and only saw you in the peripheral vision.

I hope your hand heals up quickly. Once you get back to the track, find me again and we will work on the turn ins and getting your arse off a little more so that you aren't leaning the bike so much. I am old and slow and trying to be better myself but I am here to help as I can.

Sucks as you were doing much better as the day went on.

And you would be wrong.

4a/4b is the Toilet Bowl.

Although I didn't actually call out 6a/6b as "the carousel" in this discussion? <shrug>

Never heard it being called "the toilet bowl" even the announcers call it the carousel, and to me a carousel is a 180 deg turn or close to it not a 90.

In any case if that's where you went down Mina that's a fast corner! Good thing your mostly ok.

That is indeed where I crashed.
Looks like I'm out of commission for the next 4-6 weeks.

dricked: raced there for years, a lot of drivers and riders call 4a/b the Toilet Bowl. <shrug>

I've also raced there for years. I have heard some call 4a/b the Toiled Bowl... but I have never heard anyone (besides you) refer to 6a/b as the carousel <shrug>

6a/b is barely a 90 degree corner.
