So, I dragged my knees, legs, waist and shoulder.

Popping your cherry is overrated:

Gear held up quite well with the exception of my gloves.
Five RFX1's, My right palm was the first thing to hit the ground and the stitching just ripped. I haven't worn these gloves more than 10 times and was extremely disappointed by the outcome, got a nice v cut on my palm as a constant reminder.

Otherwise It was a great day, thank you to everybody that helped me on and off the track, especially Matt McBride and the whole RC staff, much appreciated. I'll try to make it out on the 25th to make amends with the ****ing carousel.

Glad you weren't hurt too bad. Bike can be repaired easier than your bones. How did it happen?

Ouch!!! Hope you're doing alright. Mostly cosmetic to the bike?
Thanks bud, hope to recover fast. No serious damage to my body, so I'll try again.

Brembo RCS needs a rebuild
Rear brake lever
Fairing stay
Right clip on
Kill switch assembly
Throttle tube
And obviously the mangled bodywork.

Be careful with rebuilding the brembo! If there's any slight damadge to the bore its junk, sucks but having your front brakes lock up sucks even more.

Mina, I feel bad that I took the leathers off before the last session. Hopefully you feel fine today. The bike can be fixed up. We won't be at the 25th as we will be out East.

My pair of Five gloves fell apart after about a season without even crashing. Stitching on the fingers went, holes wore in the palms. I bought a pair of Bickles and they're working out fine at the moment. As Kneedragger says; good gloves are a must.

As for your crash, it sucks. But the bike doesn't look too bad and you're laughing and joking about it. Have a good think about what you did wrong and move forward.

Good that you didn't break anything, rest the hand. Hope it wasn't too bad driving home.

Damn bro. Glad you're ok. How'd you go down?

I assumed you would have dainese gloves. Cuz I thought you're a dainese whore.

Your first season out? Just fix up the bodywork with resin and glass and don't bother painting it etc. until you're done for the year. Everyone goes down in their first and second year ... pretty much. The AM bike I bought from McRae looked crap when I sold it. :)

I think these bikes painted by TJ are cursed ;) - Good thing I have some spray paint and gorilla tape now to shushh the curse away lol

Glad you are ok - I have a pair of Velocity's, 2 crashes and the kangaroo leather and the Mantaray skin is holding up like a champ ... spend the money on good gloves.

Hey take it easy and come out on the 8th of september don’t do the fabi track :s

p.s. Glad your ok, bikes can get fixed people not so much.

Cheers on a speedy recovery.

Buy local, Bickle gloves.

Ride, crash, repair, repeat.

Glad you are ok Mina.

Another track day next Friday (19th) by the track itself. Low requirements, no tech, and boatloads of track time with no groups (usually).

There most definatly will be tech and groups or atleast there better be, it's RACE practice with a track day group.
