GTA Bike Rental - anyone rented with them?

Anyone rented with GTA bike rental? Reviews? http://gtabikerentals.com/Home_Page.php
They don't seem to have a set location - site just says pick up and drop off anywhere in the GTA.
I'm looking to do my M2 Exit before my M2 expires in September.
I would want to rent a bike for a refresher course too (haven't been riding for a couple of years).
Obviously, the ideal would be to buy another but that wouldn't be the smartest financial decision at the moment.
 
Never heard of this place.

There is no address and their website has very little information. Looks pretty shady to me

Perhaps you could buy a sub $1k bike that will get the job done.
Insurance for a month should be cheap enough.
Do the test then resell the bike.
Just an idea.
 
If this is legit this is awesome.

Pricing seems too good.

120 for 12 hours?

Again I'm going to do this if anyone says this is real, this seems awesome to try out a bike
 
This is the same crap as renting from people advertising on kijiji. Illegal ****...
 
I don't think this is the same as GTA Exotics ( http://www.gtaexotics.ca/dev/ ) that moved from Etobicoke (right along the north side of the Gardiner) out to Oakville, they've been doing it for a while.
We see the rentals all the time at the course.
We had a rental last week that was pretty beat up, and it was from GTA - maybe it was this one you're looking at. The bike had some pretty rough looking repairs, and the rider had to pick it up at the guys house.

I don't get a cut - but I would check out GTA Exotics first. Seems much more legit, they've been doing it for a while, they have a good reputation. It won't be as cheap though.
 
A friend of mine rented from them, no problems. Actually said they were pretty decent. Can't say much about insurance, he never had an accident! They have been in business for about two years that I know of. The other option is to call Mackie Harley and rent one of those, of course then it may be better to buy a cheap bike and resell as suggested. You might be amazed at what you can buy for under $1000. This would give you more seat time, and be a better investment depending on the cost of rental.
 
I just saw their ad for the first time this week. Also noticed that Ryderz Rentals is now o longer on kijiji...wonder what happened to her as she's always been around.
 
If this is the asian woman in Scarborough, she seemed pretty legit. A buddy of mine rented from her and while they were running the operation out of their home, everything looked to be legal and in good order. A couple of other guys came and went while my buddy picked up the bike and they seemed plenty satisfied too.

Their rentals were a couple of Ninja 250s and CBR 125s.

I wouldn't rent even an e bike from them. Never ever heard a good word and mechanically I'd never trust a thing to come out of that shop.
 
I didn't know they rented e-bikes.
In 2008 we rented a ninja250 from GTAExotics. I had read numerous stories about their bikes, but decided to go and see for myself what they were like.
They also rented to us for 12 hours and gave us the 1/2 day rental fee which came to about $200 with taxes and insurance. It was a good bike that was mechanically fine and in decent shape. There were clear signs the bike had been dropped, but it was safe for the roads. The bike was actually much better than some bikes that have been certified by Rosey Toes. They were easy enough to deal with and we dropped the bike from a standstill just as we were returning it. They just asked us for $25 to cover the turn signal that needed to be replaced and all was good.

OP: buying a cheap bike and reselling is a pretty good idea too.
