So, who's going to be riding a new bike come spring?

Do you really need other peoples approval?
lol...
Slap some Ohlins, Brembo and lightweight wheels and you'll have people handing over their monies.

It's not that nice of a bike, really.
Not sure what all the hype is about!?
Looks retarded with that tiny tail IMO.

We'll have to disagree strongly there. :) It's not for nothing that they keep winning all the track comparisons and usually are voted the most favourite bike to ride by the journalists. S1000RR will win over it every now and then just for practicality (heated grips... sneaky!)

But you're not going to race it, are you? Because if you are, I'll start questioning your state of mind ;)

I don't think so...

Nah I'm not going to race it. I'll probably put it on track though, from time to time. At Calabogie it should be great as long as I keep myself in check. As much as I'd like to take it out only for special occassions or something, it's not THAT special a version... a base Factory with some WSBK paintwork, basically. Still, I'll wash it more often than my current bikes I'm sure. LOL

Tor, as usual, is first to the reviews...

Hopefully he'll put the full review up soon.

Shaman, factory or not, that bike is sick! If not internally (whatever you say), fact about me is that I never ever cared about the bike's look, they say R6 sexy, this or that...I never cared, but the RSV4---that just melts my eye!

How about in all-black, Mina? Not that I care about saving money or buying a different one. :)

2013 Diavel

You know, I have seen a few of these in person and it doesn't do it for me really, but everyone that has tried one says it's a great bike. And very different, think you will enjoy that.

Potentially a new 2013 CBR600RRA, but it is dependent on two things:

1. Honda releasing the MSRP (about time already -- it has been on in the US for a month now), and
2. Honda somehow letting me test ride the bike with only a M2 (otherwise I might have to wait until I have a full M next season).

13,599 with ABS and 12,599 without.

You sure about not needing Peoples aporoval?

Pretty sure. If I wanted everyone's approval, I'd get a S1000RR. It seems to be the de rigeur fanboy choice.

RSV4 black most definitely

Yeah, not so much. I'm well familiar with the Aprilia brand. My Tuono (with me for its sixth season this year) has had one issue: a screw backed out and caused a very light coolant leak. Fixed with a screwdriver. One valve was slightly out at its 25K valve adjustment.

I've had some issues with dealers. It turns out that Gearheads lied to me about flashing my ECU properly, but I suspected it right from the start. Beyond that I have no complaints at all.

I also have a good friend with a 2010 RSV4. No mechanical issues, he caused himself some problems trying to fit a Bazzaz to it... turns out that Bazzaz didn't test its product so very much and it just doesn't work right. An ECU flash later and the standard fuelling works great even with his Graves exhaust.

I could relate a pile of other stories about Aprilia too, but I think you get the gist. They're not Ducati. Parts are really inexpensive too.
