[h=6]Dear ****** Bag In Your 90's Accord Shitbox

Next time your car makes a knocking noise it typically means it's going to blow up. Unfortunately today it blew up right in front of me and my bike on the hwy covering my bike and myself in oil and almost creating an accident.

Well the above sums it up. Anyone else ever had something like this happen to them? Next to actually high-siding my bike this was probably my worst motorcycle experience. Couldn't see anything around me and was worried he was going to hit the brakes and i'd end up being the meat in a car sandwich. Luckily the only skin exposed was around my neck since I was wearing full gear.

While I was driving a car along the DVP northbound a few years ago I had the hood of the car ahead of me release and fly through the air only to land in front of me. I was lucky enough to be able to stop and not get hit by anyone. Damn drivers don't care for the state of their cars...

Once had a car drop his entire exhaust assembly on the 403 in front of me, at around 90 Kmh, and had no choice but to square up as best I could and go right over it.

I don't understand how the under-slung spare tire often seen on pick-ups and SUV's is legal; it's held in place by a steel cable on a winch.

Years ago I came back from a month long military excercise and in putting my gear in the back of my truck, noticed that my spare tire was back there. It turned out that while parked, it had just fallen from the truck and a mate put it in my truck for me.

A couple of years later I had to dodge a rapidly tumbling spare tire after the same thing happened directly in front of me on Hwy 17.

No one checks the condition of those!

Had a Ford Focus blow up in front of me. I was several car lengths behind so no imminent danger.

I've had a semi blow a rear tyre while I was overtaking it. Splattered hot rubber on the side of my car and caused me to soil myself.

I was hoping for a more epic explosion. :-P

I wish I had a camera when my friends old Firebird blew up infront of me on the 401.

Spat the rod right out the engine block.

Even more scary when the whole tread peels off and goes whipping by within inches, on the highway.
