Canadian Tire has the CTEK Multi-Use 3300 Battery Charger / Maintainer / Tender on sale again at 40% off (reg. $89.99 and now $49.99). This is a really good deal on one of the best battery maintainers available, and perfect timing for those looking for a charger before the winter :)

I love mine, and the quick-clip design is very handy. It's a very well-made unit -- even the insulation just feels like really high quality soft rubber.

Enjoy!

Hey GP_RZ :)
The CTEKs are supposed to desulphate your battery, extending battery life and blah blah blah. How accurate that is, I dunno.

I bought the CTEK this summer at Canadian Tire.

Now - this winter - do I set it on the motorcycle setting, or the winter setting? Both apply, damnit!

No shares in CTEK here :p I bought mine based on recommendations on this board and by doing some online research. It's a nice battery tender, but it isn't cheap -- although, the sale price makes it much more attractive.

Personally I have had issues with my CTEK chargers so no more for me. My 10 year old + Battey Tender Junior is still ticking. Where I work we sell them for $29.95 for Jeeps.

What appears like a snow flake on the charger is a charge setting for AGM batteries. If you are charging AGM batteries, use this setting. If you are maintain charging a traditional wet cell motorcycle battery, use the motorcycle setting.

Sale ends tomorrow! Grabbed the last one at the St Claire and Kingston rd location :)

Been working great for last season no issues at all...

As for the extending the battery life...who knows :)

but unit is small i just tuck it away at my work desk all winter long :D:D:D

A much kinder, and more helpful answer. Thank you.

Have mine charging 3 12v batteries in parallel, wonder how long it will take. (they are all motorcycle batteries)
