Hey,

I'm gonna be going to vegas soonish with 3 of my buddies for independence day weekend.

I'll be there for a whopping 11 days, and so I thought who better to ask than a bunch of cool motorcyclists about what to do when we are there!

So, what do you guys and gals recommend?

In particular, we have heard that lines for clubs there are so long that no one really gets in... Is this true? How do we get around this (it's 4 guys BTW).

Any good places to eat, places we must see?

And of course what Clubs and/or bars would you recommend. We are all early 20's.

Thanks everyone!

Shoot guns. Seriously.

SHOOT GUNS!!!!!
i was there in march.... and shot a 9mm and a tommy gun!!! BAD ***.

make sure you check out all the tourist stuff.
see all the casinos. inside and out.
they really are cool.

11 days is tough to do in vegas..... most people are just there for 3-4 nights.
check out the hotels/bars.
hard rock has some killer clubs/restos.
yes lines are long.... and because your are 4 dudes...the line just got longer.
if you have deep pockets, maybe you can do something about that, but its up to you really.
you have to know how to play the game.
OR. just show up really early and be the first ones in. small price to pay to get inside.
palms has a nice club/bar upstairs too.

pools are open.... but i duno if people are swimming just yet.
if they are.... check out the pool parties at the hotels...they are awesome.

if you have the cash, you can take a trip to the grand canynon or the hoover dam.
rent a car maybe.....rent a bike.
it all depends on your budget.
you can do anything you want to do in vegas provided you have the cash.

when all else fails.... just find a group of girls and ask them where they are partying.
now you have an in! ice breaker!!! lol.

and always remember.... in vegas.... hookers get to your room faster than a pizza. :D

HAVE FUN!

Go karts at Pole Position are fun and can easily kill a morning or afternoon there.
Check out a show, lots of them going on.
As far as club goes, go to Vegas.com
They have all the clubs listed along with dress codes etc....
It would be in your best interests to make friends with some single gals to go clubbing with, may help get in.
There is a car museum at 'imperial palace' if you have CAA card it's cheaper to get in, you must show it, and that will kill an hour or two.
Just visit the hotel lobbies, some of them get decked out and are neat to look at.
Check out the 'Bellagio" fountains and the show in front of 'Treasure Island' .... Chicks on ships putting on a good show. Both are free to do.
Lots of good food around, for any tastes.

I was just there last week. I recommend the following:

  • The club at Palms. However, bouncers are choosy who to let in. Gotta have some hot ladies with you if you want to get in. Dress really nice.
  • The club at Cosmopolitan. Same deal as Palms.
  • See Cirque de Soliel. There are like 5 different shows from different casino/hotel.
  • MGM and Rio dinner buffet. Worth the money.
  • Shoot some guns.
  • My friend wanted to dirt bike riding in the desert, but couldnt find one near the strip. Try that if you have the time.
Have fun and always wear a condom.

check out the bunny ranch and spearmint rhino and then shoot more guns

rent a car and go to LA for a day or two. Also see the grand canyon.

also, never make eye contact with a flyer guy. they snap the flyers to get your attention, then when they see you've flinched, they swoop in.

i was there last month. the gun store was AMAZING.. shot an AK47 dirty harry .44 magnum, tommy gun. saw m249 and a bunch of other ****. if you say you are there on a bachelor party they will make you wear a gay pink shirt, but you get to shoot for FREE!

Booth/Bottle $ervice or rent some "company" for the night other wise good luck with that.

Hit up the pool parties

and whatever everyone else said.

rent a motorcycle and go to LA for a day or two.

Fixed
Ya 11 days is a long time. I'd hit up Cali for a few days.... also you might be able to take the Yamaha Champions riding school while in Vegas if you time it right. Probably one of the best high performance riding schools in the world.

Remember not everything stays in Vegas.

BINGO!!!!
thats what i did when i was there. I rented a bike and took off for 4 days.

i inquired about the yamaha school. the dude i spoke to was really nice.
it was super $$$$$$ though.
next time i am there i might do it though.

to the OP. 11 days of partying in vegas is tough to do.
rent a vehicle and go explore more than just the strip.
very beautiful roads out there.

11 days in vegas is gonna require a big bank roll.

Rent a car, and go see,
Red Rock Canyon
Hover Dam
Zion National park
Grand canyon
Havasu City

This is good information. Although renting a car is actually one of the CHEAPER things to do. There are 4 of you guys, it might be a bit cramped but me and one dude rented a car at 11:00pm, went back to the hotel and went to bed immediately. Got up at 6:30am, drove to the Hoover Dam, checked that out, then went to the Grand Canyon, and then we drove around the North end of the Canyon, and all the way back along the other side, through Utah, and back into Vegas through the North End. It was a 14 Hour day and we were moving relatively quickly the whole time.

The roads are absolutely unbelievable coming through Arizona and then into Utah. You won't regret it if you are driving enthusiasts. It's a long trip though... we made it back and returned the car with only 1 day's rental.

Don't rent a car to get around Vegas.

DEFINITELY check out all the Casino's inside, especially Bellagio, Caesar's and Venetian.

You are going to need a **** LOAD of money for 11 days. If you know how to play Poker, it's a good way to kill time if you're a tight player. I played $1/2 for 4 hours and made a hundred bucks and drank for free.

If you're gambling, you're drinking for free.

Dress nice and smoke big assed cigars and girls seem to like you.

You can do it at Miller in Utah as well. I had the very fortunate opportunity to do a trackday at Mid-Ohio where Kenny Hill and Nick Ienatsch were instructing that day.... they are the guys that do The Yamaha Champion School.

Awesome stuff.

I don't think that Yamaha is hosting their school in vegas while we are there. It is also like $2000+ for the school.

As of now, I am thinking of budgeting about $200 per day. We have a condo (polo towers) on the strip for the first 7 days, so we have a kitchen etc. We will most likely try and buy things like cereal etc to save a little on food.
Also we will most likely rent a car, go on a roadtrip, just walk around a night or two and see sights, etc some days so that on days we party we will most likely have more like $300+ to spend on nights we go out.

Are we underbudgeting? One of my buddies says he thinks he can get through the trip with only $1000 spending money.

How much should we budget for in vegas? on a per day value. Guestimations welcome!

Im going to Vegas in July I think for 4 days 3 nights. I'm budgeting about $1500 for this time and even then I have my worries it may not be enough money...lol
depending on what you want to do you could do vegas cheap or if you are going balls to the wall everyday itll add up for sure.
