Hard to believe your get $15000 ohlind fgr gas forks on a $32000 bike. It's a little misleading becaus on their site they only list ohlins 43mm forks for the $32000 bike. Only in the rs specs does it actually say it comes with the gas forks and that bike is $59000 which makes more sense

Except a $59,000 bike makes no sense.

This is the first electric bike I've seen that is a decent motorcycle. None of the big Japanese makers seem interested in e-bikes, yet.

I rode one. It rides like a cheap 125 with more power. Noodly front end. I also tried a Brammo, it doesn't fit anyone taller than 5'6".

They still cost too much, so the battery costs are offset with cheaper frame components...otherwise its $32K+.

Crazy! I've never had any interest in so much as a demo ride (very unlike me). I put 'e-bikes' in the same heap as toll roads.

Electric bikes are gay until further notice.

There is a difference between an e-bike scooter with pedals, and say, the MotoCzysz E1pc. They're only going to get better. Think of it like this, you're living during a time where a whole new opportunity for engines and power and technology is just unfolding before you, it's like when vehicles were first introduced. If that's not exciting, you probably haven't thought about it much.

Don't judge them till you have a chance to try them. The only electric i have tried was the trialer EM 5.7.Totally different experience. You never miss the lack of sound, but the throttle response and torque available is mind blowing.
This whole thing is in it's infancy and needs some serious development work done in the battery department.A replacement battery for $2500 is a bit steep.

Somewhere, some idiot is figuring out how to make a whisper quiet bike sound loud.

Loud speakers making engine noise save lives. It will be on a T shirt.

When electric cars first started coming out they were pretty gay too...now we have the Tesla and that's one sexy beast! Also I'm seeing WAY more of them on the roads recently and I like what I see.

When cars started coming into mainstream back in the early 20th century, there was an equal split between gas, steam and electric powered vehicles.

Only the oil companies had the muscle to push for internal combustion engines and the other two fell to the way side.

We're to a certain extent paying for that now.

Why mock something just cuz you dont like it?

Grade school dont you think?

Because there are a useless and wasteful as electric cars.
