Hi,

I am going this Friday to Windsor to do my M2 exit - does anyone know the route? It was the only place I could get it done this year & have no idea of the area at all.

Thanks

Not to sound like a prick or anything, but why do you need to practice the route if you are capable of safely riding your bike?

Yes I did it too....just being a ....well you know.....here's to you passing without semi cheating.....lol Thumbs up!

the routes change from test to test but are usually held in the same general area around the drive test center.

how is knowing the area cheating? normally you would be doing the test in a city that you live in/close to. knowing the area isn't cheating, it just lets you be forewarned about hazards in the area.

Something like going to a new town with your licience in hand and requesting where the difficult spots are so you can virtually brush up on them? If you can ride/drive, then it doesn't matter what is placed in front of you, you should be able to deal with it....IMHO....no?

Like I said, not trying to be a prick, just deal with whatever they throw at you and show them you can.

for someone not trying, you sure are good at it. Lots of places have weird intersections, odd rules at a light.. etc The OP has enough on his mind trying to drive like a saint, while swivelling his head every .2 seconds for shoulder checks that the testers love to see.

OP, I dont know the area, but I would just go drive around the area for an hour before and do a bit of a 'warm up' and get to know the roads as best you can.

It's really easy to pass. But depending how anal you are - you could always show up early in an 80's caprice sporting a fake mustache and run a tail on someone before you. Now that's being a (private) d!ck.

Ive seen this a bit late- but I have a friend who just did it if it will help.

Drivers Centre.
North on Dougall.
Turn West on Tecumseh to Bruce.
Turn North on Bruce( this is a 1 way). Continue to Shepherd.
East on Shepherd. Ride east to Dougall.
South on Dougall to EC Row Expressway West.
West on EC Row Expressway to Huron Church Rd.
Exit on Huron Church Rd and go south to E Row Expressway East on ramp.
(here you are just getting off the e-way and getting back on the opposite way)
East on EC Row Expressway to Howard Ave exit.
North on Howard Ave to Eugenie.
West on Eugenie to Dougall.
North on Dougall to return to Drivers Centre.

Hope this helps, there are multiple routes, but this seems to be the main. If it rains, sometimes they shorten the route.

Good luck and all the best.
