I've entered a contest for the best story to win a $100 prize on a local motorcycle blog run by a member on this forum (adri) and need your votes! My entry is called, "Why you should do your own oil changes" which is about one of my earlier oil changes that went horribly wrong.

Just follow the link, and click the last star at the top to vote 5/5 stars. $100 is at stake. Thanks in advance! :)

I'm up against some stiff competition who has almost twice as many votes, but with the power of GTAM I can win!

P.S. While you're there, read my story lol!

I'm surprised the kitty litter didn't work. Always does for me. Shop towels also absorb oil WAY better than rags or paper towels. When I found that out I was amazed. Before I would sit there wiping down my containers from used oil forever and then have to wash them with detergent in the sink which always seemed bad for the environment. With shop towels I can just wipe it down a lot and it's basically clean of oil. I wouldn't eat off it but it's clean enough that I can store it without worrying about oil going everywhere.

Almost voted for this one! But since you asked, I voted for your story reluctantly. :)

Oh...damn. Good thing I voted for OP before I read the whole thread :p

I'm guessing I didn't leave the kitty litter on long enough.

Thanks so much everyone!

P.S. I think you can vote once per day so if you voted yesterday or earlier, you can vote again. Thanks! The Winner is announced December 14th, so I'm guessing voting ends the 12th (today) or the 13th (tomorrow).
