Why can't this be on the news?

So you're saying it's a bad thing to lead by example?

Do you really need a video to instruct you on how to assist a person in a wheelchair? Do you need an empathy app to see if someone needs your assistance?

Unfortunately yes, we do live in an age when civility, patience and common courtesy are at an all time low. But doing good deeds so you can post them online is not the solution.

Not me per se but some people who have lost their way may need this to restore their faith in humanity.

Countless people lend a helping hand everyday without being videoed or asking for recognition. People help because it's the right thing to do, not post videos to receive pats on the back. These videos are posted by narcissistic attention seekers so they can feel good about themselves.

Pat on the back is a small price for a good deed. For a few likes an attention seeker does a good deed. Win-win. Putting them down achieves nothing. Actually you seem to be the attention seeker here. What are you trying to achieve? Unmasking why some dude helped someone in a wheel chair? Who cares why he did it. He got a disabled person across the road. How are you making the world a better place questioning his motives?

Well look how many impressionable young kids use YouTube. This is more likely to have an impact on them.

that would have had more substance if someone other than the rider filmed it, and put it on the net for others to see.

for all you know, Buddy could have been riding around for hours looking for someone that needs help, just to post it on the web to make himself look good

look at me look at me, Im a nice guy..

You guys are so crippled by your cynicism, you should get handicapped parking permits.

The guy captured an interesting and unusual event on camera, better than most **** online, and you figure he should have decided "oh wait, this makes me look good so I won't post it"?

If that's the standard, then nobody should post anything except for their stupid crashes online. Or is it OK if they ride around with a friend who has the camera so it looks like a 3rd party posted it? I guess that's not good enough either as people accuse that cop who bought boots for the homeless guy of staging the event, even though it was posted by a 3rd party.

It's possible to be cynical about everything, but in many cases (like this one) it doesn't even matter. If it was staged, it was to convey a message of goodwill towards others, which is a great message. A message you two are unable to appreciate.

Thats bakerxderek , I'm subbed to his channel and the dude just seems like a cool dude- not an attention seeker as some like to say on here .

Cynicism is so easy to come by. I got caught off guard the other day tho. A guy at the union hall asked me about the job I'm on, how is it?(crap) and what were the guys like? Without thinking I said "they're all good, we have a blast" That threw me for a loop, I had to repeat it in my head.

These types of feel good stories are always reserved for the end of your late evening news piece for a positive send off. It wasn't too long ago when CTV national ran a video of a motorcyclist helping out a person in a wheelchair who got stuck on a curb. Unless it's public access TV, the producers will appeal to the advertisers and ratings means dollars. In mass media, the saying is "if it bleeds, it leads".

bakerXderek Cheeeeaaa LOL. if the news outlets starting showing these good videos then the public will start to like bikers. we all know we cant have that, can we.... (sarcasm)!

We shouldn't need videos showing the right thing to do.
We need public negative enforcement of a-hole behaviour.

Liveleak is so archaic. No mobile friendly website. No app. Lots of ads, no likey

Always works fine on my phone. Then again, almost every site works exactly the same as on a PC. Just have issues with some mouse-related features since my phone has no mouse so things that require a click and drag usually result in scrolling instead of working.
