I am moving to another city in a month and don't want to bother transporting it.
Mint 2011 Ducati 848, 6500km with termi's, bi-xenons, motoMFG centre stand, certified for $10K

Winter time makes it hard to sell a bike - downtown Toronto... wanted to post a feeler...

I don't think I would want to buy a bike in the winter w/o a trailer... what are everyone else's thoughts???

Thanks.

You could try to see if GP Bikes would sell it on consignment

It's not going to sell for 10k maybe 7 tops ducati's are a hard sell used. Apex may take it on consignment.

this weather hasn't been bad compared to previous winters.
Even supposed to be up to 6 degrees this weekend.

If you ask the right price someone will buy it and possibly just ride it home.

Some people buy bikes in the winter (I'm currently looking at adding a cruiser to the garage). You'll have to be much more realistic in your pricing.

what exactly is a 'feeler' ?
does it mean the bike is for sale or not ?
is it a sneaky way of posting a classified where there is more traffic ?

i feel i can take it off your hands for $4k.

4K??! Nice try...looks like you still dreaming with your eyes open!

This "feeler" post has pretty much let him know that he will not sell his bike unless he lists it at a reasonable price from the responses.

I can pick it up in my enclosed trailer and store it till spring. I just need the ownership , pink slip, and a key, in case I need to "move" it. :)

anyhow 848 is a good bike …

Ducati super and sport bikes are not easy to sell privately unless they are aggressively priced. You *might* be able to get $10K privately but it'll take some time, if at all. Not a chance though that a price like that will get someone to pounce on it right now.

You might have some better luck with consignment with a GTA Ducati dealer, but of course, they take a cut too, if they do it.
