Where to Mount GoPro on Bike?

You could try getting a ram mount and bolt it on one of the front forks.

Almost 100% impossible on a sports bike/tourer.

I like the chest and chin mount ideas. The only problem with any helmet mount is the amount of camera movement that occurs with mirror checks, shoulder checks, etc on the street. Gives me a bit of a headache, but maybe it's just me.

I've had good success mounting the camera on an 18" aluminum tube (RAM) which was attached to a RAM mount on my mirror. It's good to get the bike in the shot. You can see the tube in the bottom of this photo

Same mount, facing forward:

This year, I'm going to fiddle around more with the chest mount.

Not to get all technical but it's not mounted directly to the axle. And I should have said "almost 100% impossible to do safely (for the camera)"

There's not enough space and too much travel.

The set up ^^^^ has helped overcome the issue. I may try it in time, but I've never succesfully mounted directly to a fork leg on 3 different sports bikes.
