When are you guys going to get your act together?!?!

Congrats.lol

I was once told that NY is the only one holding up the rest of the EST from canceling the whole switcharoo twice a year.

Good to see an actual decision being made.
Hopefully the rest of Canada will follow suit, but I'm not holding my breath.

Douggie passed a law in Ontario years ago that enshrined the end of time changes. Sadly, it relies on our neighbours to the south to trigger it. Seemed stupid at the time and still does. It makes very little difference to anyone if the time in New York and Toronto are one hour apart.

And what percentage of the 21st century population actually needs to have the sun up at 5am?

***spoiler***

The hundred or so odd people that have to get up to milk the chickens........which are indoors in an artificially lit meat factory, so no one.

Sunset @ 9:45, for the hundreds of thousands of us that do outdoor stuff in the evening and welcome the extra natural light. Deal with a day, maybe two of "this feels a little bit off" (me, I don't even notice it and find it a first world problem).
