What was the the biggest waste of money you ever spent on your bike?

I do not upgrade my bike, I keep it stock, only ricers do the little things to impress. I do functional 'modifications' to the bike such as frame sliders. If the bike doesn't look good the way it is, WHY BUY IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

With that said, my BIGGEST waste of money I spent IS MY BIKE, it depreciates the moment it leaves the dealer.

Ricers eh? Making something yourbown makes you a ricer? Best reply you've had here yet. You know your frame sliders likely cause more damage than they do good right? I'll go get the popcorn. This should be good.

Op biggest waste for me was "warm gloves" get heated grips or heated gloves. Oh and don't rice out your ride. It's all a waste of money

I'm not. I want to know why everyone who modifies anything is an automatic ricer? I mean just when you think you've seen it all on here some noob comes along and pulls out another award winner.

Because bikes are designed by committees some of which are government. Don't you know nobody likes committees and government? Are you a commie?

LOL

It's your duty as a PATRIOT to mod your bike! If not, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post!

Iceman, that's awesome. You are very lucky, and I am jealous. Could you send me a link to this harness? My younger son loves the bike, and that may be an option when he is a little bigger.

I'll do you one better, my son has pretty much outgrown his. As soon as he's done with it, it's yours. I've got givi v35 side cases and I'm adding a small topcase with backrest, with this setup he really won't need it anyway.
It's a great setup, full ballistic nylon 5 point body harness with a padded neck roll to support the rear of the helmet, 6" padded belt to wrap around the rider, and a small "handlebar" in between for the passenger to hold on to. Very safe, and we have definitely gotten our value from them, I only know of one place that sells them and they're $179 now.

Only ricers buy brand new to impress.

I hit a bambi about 10 yrs ago and bought deer whistles the next day.I think they are in an old toolbox under the stairs.

Put them on the Ossa

I've fixed up a couple of older bikes and then given them away. I should probably get them back, since he's left them sitting in a garage or alley, but I don't have anywhere close to store them.

Sorry, what's a ricer?

Afaik Japanese SS, also Japanese compacts, ie civic. Modded.

Is the term exclusively used for Civics? I don't think I've ever heard of, lets say a GTR, called a ricer
