I finally got my $100 project blower finished. Bought it from a really frustrated fellow who spent countless hours and $$$ but couldn’t get it going.

He replaced the belts, friction drive wheel, shift slider, faced drive pulley and tires.

What I did:
Rebuilt starter motor. Brushes had melted the backplate. I bought a dc brush plate and modified it for AC - should be bulletproof.

It always amazes me when people replace things that have nothing to do with the symptoms. I can understand that not everyone is mechanically inclined, but replacing tires on a machine that won't start doesn't seem to make much sense. Same with all the other driveline parts.

Broke the plow off the utv have to make new tabs for the pusher arms to attach to machine as old ones are torn off. Going to upgrade from 1/8 to 5/16 steel plate hopefully this will get to the end of the snow season.

I bought a plow for my atv this year… good for a few snowfalls not there's nowhere to place the snow. The banks on my driveways are 6’ tall.

Had to get a blower. Contemplating how to mount it to my atv.

Tonight I finally finished my insulating the garage ceiling project... What would've normally been a 1-2 day project with a buddy became a 4 month solo project because my neck/back/shoulders are still a mess.

I can't do more than 15 minutes to half an hour of labour comfortably... and up to about 1-2 hours if I want to be an idiot who feels like **** for the rest of the day and the next day after that. I didn't even really step foot in there at all in December because, maybe due to weather, maybe due to Christmas social obligations, I felt like I was getting worse that month, not better. Add to that rotator cuff area issues and just overall upper body strength weakness (aka complete absence of any real strength right now) and, yeah... I would do 10 minutes here, 30 minutes there, etc.

It looks like **** but it's tighter and toastier and that's good enough for me. The plan was to insulate this in the fall so I could work in there all winter, but... I'm not able to do sweet **** all these days.

On the plus side, no need to get high, this concussion has me living every moment spaced out! Ugh.

Got a box full of bike parts purchased from market place. Only wanted the bar end mirrors so that will be the task in the cold.

The question is, is it worth it to try and sell bike parts on eBay? I’m at the border and can ship to American purchaser if needed.

Not much market place activity for random motorcycle parts. At least this time of year.

Thruxton seat and fenders and tail light with indicators. Maybe keep them for some future mods?

If you figure that out, let us know how it goes for you! I've been selling off camera gear I don't use enough to justify keeping as someone who hasn't worked in 5 months, but selling it on marketplace and kijiji I know is yielding me a lot less than what I see the same gear selling for on ebay auctions. I know ebay takes a cut, but I've also been wondering if it's worth it or not... I'd say if you can easily and affordably get to the US side of the border to ship domestically to the American market, I would definitely give it a shot if I were you.
