2nd year on M2, gonna get my M either near the end of this season or mid-season next year.
I am more inclined to do it this year so that when my policy renews, I will be on an M and should help my rates a smidge.
 
M2 as of June
Came to Canada in 1969 with a UK motorcycle license. Got my G in 1970. When I took the test, the guy said he could do the motorcycle test right away if I wanted, but I didn't have a bike, so I said no. I should have asked if he could give me the motorcycle because I had the UK license??
 
Full M since 1989
 
I read somewhere in a thread that a full M doesn't affect your insurance rates.
The reason is that anyone can go out and buy a Busa and rocket around, regardless of the level of their license (M1, M2, M).

Correct! Least that applies with Jevco, TD, and Statesfarm. The only reason people get full M is probably to stop it from expiring. Would hate to redo M2 every 5 years.
 
I just got my M1 2 weeks ago. I have my theory class tomorrow and rider training this weekend. I'm already out on the road being careful in the meantime. :)

M since 74. Busted for riding without a licence in 72, cop didnt buy the plea of 'not my fault, cant get one until im 16'.
 
M2 since August, 2009. At this point, not sure whether I'll go for the M. Time will tell.
