Nazareth was the first concert I ever went to at Maple Gardens in 1975. I think tickets were under $10. I’m at the Bourbon and Beyond festival in Louisville right now and I don’t want to tell you what I paid for that but it was a lot more than $10 with the exchange. Great lineup though that runs for 4 days. Foo Fighters and Queens of The Stoneage closed last night. Going to see The Violent Fems in an hour or two on one of the smaller stages , Mumford and Sons are closing tonight.
 
Monday morning update. Hootie and the Blowfish, Dave Mathew’s Band and Counting Crows stayed in the same hotel as my partner and I. Apparently nobody recognized Adam Durwitz without his dreads.
 
I'm forever stuck in the 80s...
Luckily for me so are some of the bands/artists I enjoyed back then. 'Still playing their songs from probably the most musically prolific era of my lifetimes...
