Watched the Hip documentary recently on Prime, can't recommend it highly enough. I was never a super dedicated fan, but the '90s were my teen and early-20s years, so they were ever-present and I saw them live at least a half dozen times then. The run from Up to Here to Phantom Power was just incredible, so many stone classics. The documentary filled in so many blanks, and while it was naturally focused on Downie (his brother directed ), it also did a great job of highlighting the rest of the band.
Saw these guys in Toronto last year. Probably the best live performance I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to a lot of shows. They absolutely rocked the place.
