That's the latest I had ever ridden my bike.
I didn't even put on my leathers. I was only in jeans.
Was out for about an hour.
Sure was fantastic. Now the winter is going to feel real short.
I was even getting some pretty good traction.
 
Yeah i hear you..feels really good, but watch out for the liquid salt on the road, it's called (brine) you better wash the bike, you don't want to let it sit over the winter.

I went out too. about an hour round trip hagersville to hamilton and back...

Sempre1 -- bike and a bug? Looks like my garage ;-)
 
Same thing here - a half hour ride around the city Christmas afternoon, just so I can say I have.
 
well yes bad thing about this time of year is the "brine" but good thing is you do not have to
wash off bug guts and dig corpses out of your rad fins after a ride :)

Brine wasn't put out in downtown toronto until the 27th. I went riding on the 26th at like 11pm. tis the season and all was good on the bike. no salt whatsoever. Never road this late either. Last year I put the bike away on Dec 6... This year Im not even winterizing...

I made the mistake of riding to work yesterday, after the snowfall/rain etc. Let me tell you, trying to park a nearly 500lb bike in a lot that's been turned into a virtual ice-rink *sucks*. So did spending an hour and a half re-washing the bike last night after riding back home through the massive amount of salt & crap on the road.

Been an awesome season, glad I didn't have any major mishaps this year, but after yesterday, I'm done for the season. Let's see what 2012 brings. :D
 
Um. Wrong. There was brine on the roads 4 weeks ago with the first threat of freezing overnight.
