Today driving to work In Newmarket, had a old lady decide not to look for on coming traffic before she made her left hand turn,

I was driving and realized that people couldn't see me due to someone making a left, so i moved over to the far right lane and the old (f&*KEN) lady just hammer the gas. I hit the brakes hard and swerved, thank got no one was in the other lane. I stopped just cm's away from her car. She just drove on like it was nothing. People on the sidewalk, like jumped out of the way and were ready for this big truck (F350) to destroy this Smaller SUV.

So no matter what your rocking today, Bike or car. Be on Your Toes and if you cant seem them, they cant see you and never trust anyone

Ride Safe.

Glad u survived without a scratch. Yeah just dont expect drivers to see you AT ALL while riding... thats a rule

Man if they cant see this huge truck... damn, people need to stop taking that big of a risk, peoples lives are at stake

Old folks are sometimes on medication, or can't turn their heads to look left or right. (Glad you avoided tradgedy). Anyone for mandatory driving tests starting at 60? I wish my 81 year old father-in-law would stop driving for those reasons. Ride/drive safe everyone.

+1 for above...I'd be keen on implementing it but it won't happen any time soon. A lot of doctors won't even report their patients to the MTO because they are friends and feel like they would betray the patient by taking away their driving privileges.
Years ago a good family friend stopped driving after his 3rd accident into a stationary object. He realized he was too old and gave up driving. Worked great for me because I was still learning to drive and got to shuttle him around in nice cars and pick up my driving skills in the meantime.
