I'm there right now on my sled. They've been trucking snow down to the beach all week. They've got jumps made this year. All the racing teams are here. It's a full go. It goes into the night as well. All the skidoo trails are open as well... there is plenty of snow here.

Must be some last minute scrambling. Last they posted some events were cancelled.

Yeah but since when has that EVER stopped sledders from riding the trails??? lol I have seen reports already of three sleds going into open water, in the last few days. Two on Jack Lake early 01 Jan and then another one today.

They'll show red when the trails aren't groomed. All the gates are open tho.
