WARNING, seller on Kijiji selling FAKE Dainese Wave back protectors....

There is also fake AlpineStar gloves, I think he was selling em to. Be Careful Purchasing off Kijiji from a private seller "New Brand Name" Items!!
 
Just curious if you confirmed that they're fake? Did you go out and take a look at his product, or did you just come to the conclusion they're fake because of his other ads?
 
oh man... those jackets look like the worst kind of vinyl. someone is going to get that melted onto their skin if they go down wearing it.

wish there were enforceable laws about stuff like this...

I called this guy as well.... sounded REALLY shady...asked about the different sizes he had. 1s, 11 ,12 ,13... he had NO idea what i was asking about... and said only in sizes Small Medium and Large. as far as i Know. real Dainese gear is usually made in Italy, Poland.

$90 is ridiculously cheap brand new.. especially cause these things msrp at $199+

Could be real but might have fallen off a truck? If its too good to be true improbably is.
 
Call me crazy but when it comes to helmets or items like this I prefer to go to an authorized dealer. Stuff like boots, gloves etc sure go find for less.

I've seen fake gloves too. I wouldn't trust any bootleg protective gear.

I wouldn't trust fakes either. All I meant was I know where I can look online and find genuine things like gloves for considerably cheaper. I'm all for supporting the dealers and for things like a helmet I wouldn't buy it anywhere else. Kijiji isn't on my radar of places to look either. Can't imagine someone selling fakes on there :rolleyes:

I bought the Brazil Butt Lift he's selling. I'll report in a couple weeks on how my butt looks after using it to see if it's a fake product also.
